We specialise in high quality Arable and Contract Farming with diversified enterprises of Groundworks, Engineering and a thriving Flower Farm Business
Our Approach
As an all arable farm, we combine high quality food production with a strong commitment to Countryside Stewardship, supporting healthy soils, thriving habitats and a resilient countryside. We strive to farm in a responsible and sustainable manner balancing commercial considerations with care for the environment and stewardship of the beautiful patch of countryside we have the privilege to live and work in.
About Us
Lower Norton Farms is a family-run business, owned and managed by the Coleman family - today led by Tom, Alison, and their son Andrew.
Our story began in 1976, when Tom’s parents, Allen and Mary Coleman, fulfilled a lifelong ambition to farm. Leaving behind a career in industry, they purchased two small farms in Devon and began building the foundations of what would become the family business.
In 1987, the Devon farms were sold and Lower Norton Farm was purchased. From that point on, the business has continued to grow and evolve, guided by the same dedication, hard work, and family values that inspired its beginnings.
